Iranian Revolution (Day Thirteen)

Mousavi defied the crackdown (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8118783.stm and http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-iran-mousavi26-2009jun26,0,2461818.story), and was arrested (house arrest) because of it (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/06/breaking-mousavi-placed-under-house.html).
Aftermath of some rioting and some video from the protests yesterday (http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/06/the-revolution.html) (Mild Warning for the second video).
Of the 290 MPs that were invited to Ahmadinejad's victory party only 105 turned up ; snub, siding with the protesters, waiting to see who win... (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8118139.stm [via http://pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/80794]).
The protesters deserve full support (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124588821030550761.html), but does that mean that US soldiers will end up on the ground in Iran (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0609/24154.html).
If the government crushes the protesters would that make an Israeli strike more likely (http://ace.mu.nu/archives/289003.php). I do not think it really has any bearing except that a strike would not be necessary if they stop trying to develop nukes which might happen if the protesters win.
Ahmadinejad warning Obama not to turn into Bush (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iran/5634999/Irans-Mahmoud-Ahmadinejad-hits-out-at-Barack-Obama.html).
The events in Iran are proving once again how useless the United Nations really is (http://networkedblogs.com/p6574613).
