اخباری که از منابع موثق ایران میرسد حاکی بر انست که دستگاه کودتا تمام قوایش را برای جلوگیری از انتشار فتوای دستجمی مراجع تقلید بکار خواهد برد. از قرار این فتوا عدم قابلیت خامنهای و غیر قانونی بودن احمدینژاد را تائید خواهد کرد.
