Sorouri, who heads the special committee, also pointed out that 104 individuals have so far filed lawsuits in regard to the mistreatments that happened at the Kahrizak detention center. The Kahrizak detention center, located south of Tehran, was closed on the order of the Supreme Leader due to its substandard conditions and the mistreatment of inmates.
