The Iranian dance group Khorshid Khanoom (Ms. Sun) was founded by Aram Bayat in 1988 in Montreal. Its main purpose is to preserve and teach the traditional art of Iranian dance. Iran is considered as one of the ancient world empires which devoted itself methodically and actively to the development of the art of dance.
